About this course

Want to be an animal doctor? Love animals and science? Then come to learn about responsible pet ownership, animal behavior, how animals bodies work, what makes them sick and the skills veterinarians use to make them better. Campers 'adopt' their own pet, then practice what they learn in our 'Vet Hospital' using real medical equipment, educational models, videos and demonstrations of how veterinarians spend their days at work. A live animal participant will visit each day to help put our skills to the test! Bring a bag lunch and snack to keep you energized during this fun, interactive academic camp. All materials and camp T-shirts are included. NOTE: email Dr. Pam for a camp waiver for at pamwittenberg@kidvets.net. No supervision provided before or after camp. Min 15 Max 25 Instructor: Pam Wittenberg, Veterinarian with over 30 years of experience in the field. She loves sharing her passion for science, animals, and learning with children and adults of all ages.
