About this Course

Join us for a fun week of bike focused activities where kids will build their skills and get lots of practice bicycling safely and confidently. We will cover helmet and bike fit, basic bike checks, bike handling, safety skills and rules of the road through fun courses and games and community rides, including fun destinations like an ice-cream ride! Campers will also learn how to fix a flat, oil their bike chain, and safely lock their bikes. On community rides, camp counselors will model best practices for riding on the road and trails, including safest positioning, navigating intersections, defensive riding, and more. Participants must be able to ride a two-wheel bicycle independently (no training wheels), have functioning bicycle and helmet.
