About this Course

At "Camp Kick It" kids learn that pushing themselves to physical limits to get to an amazing and remote location is so rewarding! Campers explore trails nobody knew existed, visit caves, rivers, oceans, tide pools, mountain vistas and so much more! Parents or guardians drop off and pick up children at the hike location. Camp Schedule: Monday: The Sebastopol to the River Trek (DROP-OFF at the entrance to Sebastopol Charter School Parking lot. 1111 Gravenstein Hwy. N in Sebastopol. We will be near the entrance to the parking lot where it meets the West County Trail. We will be hiking from Sebastopol to Steelhead Beach on the Russian River (No Swimming this time) PICK UP at the Steelhead Beach main parking lot near the bathrooms. 9000 River Rd., Forestville, CA 95436) Tuesday: Pinnacle Gulch/Shortail Gulch Hike, Tidepools & Caves (DROP OFF at the Pinnacle Gulch regional park Trailhead at 20600 Mockinbird Dr. Bodega, CA. Warm clothing required & toys like frisbees or kites are welcome. Swimming or wading is NOT allowed. PICK UP at the same location as DROP OFF. NOTE: If it is low-tide pickup will be at the Birdwalk Trailhead) Wednesday: Bennet Mountain Hike (DROP OFF and PICK UP at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial trailhead at 4776 Carissa Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95405.) Thursday: Pinnacle Gulch Fort Building/Play Day (DROP OFF and PICK UP at the Pinnacle Gulch regional park trailhead 20600 Mockingbird Dr. We will be spending the day learning about Coastal Fort Engineering, gathering logs, rocks and construction our own coastal Camp Fort) Friday: Mount Saint Helena (AKA Tallest Mountain in Sonoma County) DROP OFF and PICK UP at the Mt.
