Drawing is always easier when you relate to the objects in front of you! Learning to draw spheres, ellipses, and cylinders, mixing paint colors becomes fun and easy when they are oranges, apples and bananas in a bowl. By exploring drawing and painting through food (notable contemporary food artist Wayne Thiebaud would approve!) students will have fun with their still-life subject matter, especially when they get to eat the food after drawing and painting! Then after the art work is done, the still-life food subjects become a fruit salad, and that masterpiece painting of a cupcake makes a great afternoon treat! All materials and food are included.
